Patxi Xabier Castaños Gil

Patxi Xabier Castaños Gil has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal and construction industries. Patxi Xabier currently holds the position of Chief Legal Officer at AEDAS Homes since October 2022. Prior to this role, they were involved in mentoring activities at the Urban Land Institute starting from January 2021.

In the academic field, Patxi has held various roles as a professor. Patxi Xabier served as a Professor in Construction Law at Universidad CEU San Pablo from October 2017. Before that, they were a Professor in Urban planning licenses at Universidad Politénica de Madrid from October 2016.

In terms of private sector experience, Patxi worked as the Head of Legal at AQ-Acentor from September 2019 until September 2022. Patxi Xabier also served as the Head of Legal - Construction area at Grupo Avintia from August 2016 to August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Amenabar as a Legal Counsel and Business Development from September 2015 to August 2016.

Going further back in time, Patxi was responsible for Real Estate acquisitions as a Legal Counsel at Servihabitat from October 2012 to April 2014. Patxi Xabier also held various positions at Ahorro Corporación, including the Head of Legal Department - Real Estate from August 2011 to October 2012 and Legal Counsel - Real Estate from December 2008 to October 2012.

Patxi began their career at MAPFRE as a Land & Investment senior consultant from July 2006 to December 2008.
