Jan Henrik Ziegeldorf

Jan Henrik Ziegeldorf has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jan Henrik is currently the CTO & Co-Founder of aedifion GmbH since August 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Researcher at the Lehrstuhl für Gebäude- und Raumklimatechnik, E.ON ERC, RWTH Aachen University from August 2017 to September 2019.

Jan also has experience as a Researcher and PhD candidate at RWTH Aachen University - Communication & Distributed Systems, where they defended their PhD thesis in December 2017. Jan Henrik worked at Philips as a Guest Researcher from April 2012 to September 2014, and as a Freelance Data Analyst at Zalando SE from June 2011 to March 2012.

Jan Henrik Ziegeldorf has an extensive education history in the field of computer science. Jan Henrik obtained their Ph.D. degree, known as "Dr. rer. nat.," from RWTH Aachen University, majoring in Computer Science. This educational achievement spanned from 2012 to 2017.

Prior to their Ph.D., Ziegeldorf completed their Diploma in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration at RWTH Aachen University, from 2005 to 2011.

During their academic journey, Ziegeldorf also spent a year at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), where they studied Computer Science in 2008 and 2009.

Furthermore, Ziegeldorf has obtained several additional certifications to enhance their knowledge and expertise. Jan Henrik completed various Specialization courses offered by Coursera, including "Deep Learning Spezialisierung" in March 2020, "Sequence Models" in March 2020, "Convolutional Neural Networks" in February 2020, "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" in December 2019, "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" in November 2019, and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" in November 2019.
