Shawn began his successful optical career more than 25 years ago. His broad range of eyecare experience spans independent optical companies as well as some of the most iconic brands in the industry today. Brands such as Target Optical, Oakley, LensCrafters, and Sunglass Hut International have benefited from Shawn’s tremendous industry knowledge and deep understanding of the ever changing optical world. He is truly a multi-faceted leader driven by his range of roles across the retail, professional services, wholesale, luxury and value side of the industry. Under Shawn’s leadership as the Vice President of Operations, he helped orchestrate the turnaround of Target Optical by focusing on the organization’s culture and transforming it into one of the fastest growing optical companies for more than a decade. Shawn is also passionate about giving back to those in need and has led or been part of many North American and international eyecare clinics. Shawn is best known for his ability to align a team to create a sustained growth plan that’s customer-centric and builds top talent.
