Rocco J. Lafaro

Rocco J. Lafaro has worked as a Vice President of Investments at Aegis Capital since September 2011. Prior to that, they were an Investment Counselor at David Lerner Associates, Inc. from August 2008 to May 2011. At Aegis Capital, Rocco has focused on providing quality service in various areas of investments, including wealth management, research, investment banking, securities-backed lending, and execution. At David Lerner Associates, their main focus was managing a multi-million dollar investment book with a primary emphasis on fixed income, particularly in the municipal bond market and private equity funds.

Rocco J. Lafaro completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Pace University, which they attended from 2002 to 2006. In 2014 and 2015, they pursued an Executive Leadership Business Program at the Jack Welch Management Institute. Prior to their university education, Rocco attended Stepinac High School from 1996 to 2000.

In terms of additional certifications, Rocco obtained a Series 7 General Securities License from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in January 2009. Rocco J. also obtained a certification in Creating Winning Business Strategy from the Jack Welch Management Institute. Furthermore, Rocco holds a certification in Leadership from the same institute. Rocco J. also acquired a NYS Life, Accident and Health License from the NYS Department of Financial Services.

Additionally, Rocco has certifications in the financial industry, including Series 24 General Securities Principal License, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law License, Series 66 Investment Advisor Uniform Combined State Law Exam, and Wealth Management Specialist from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
