Sandra Preyale

President at Aegis Living

As President, Sandra Preyale supports business growth and development for Aegis Living. She also oversees operations and strategies for new properties in development.

Previously, Sandra served as Aegis’ Chief People Officer (CPO) for four years overseeing innovative recruitment and retention strategies. As CPO, she developed and launched Aegis University to grow talent from within, created a centralized recruiting team to maintain lower than average industry turnover and was instrumental to helping the leadership team navigate successfully through the pandemic.

Sandra has more than 30 years’ experience as a global human resources (HR) leader with a true passion for nurturing and developing people. She has developed people strategies to accompany business transformation at Amazon, L’Oreal, and Coach, giving her a unique perspective in creating outstanding teams in dynamic environments. As a Vice President of HR with Amazon Marketplace, Sandra oversaw seven business groups and 75 global HR partners with the responsibility for defining and implementing HR strategy as well as re-engineering the HR organization across global regions. While at Coach, she built human resources teams in Asia, Europe and New York, leading change-management projects including recreating regional structures, simplifying organizational hierarchies, developing a new regional buying model and overhauling back office outsourcing.

She has lived and worked internationally for earlier leadership positions with the LVMH Group, a multinational luxury goods conglomerate, and Danone Group, rounding out her organizational and people management business experience.

Sandra holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology from the University College of Dublin and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from University of Paris V.
