David Priestley

David Priestley is the current Chief Financial Officer at Aegis Sciences Corporation. Prior to their current position, David served as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Inform Diagnostics from August 2011 to May 2018. David was a key executive team member responsible for leading the accounting, tax, and finance functions during a period of rapid change and uncertainty.

Under David's leadership, the finance and accounting department went through a successful restructuring that aligned the department with the company's business product lines. This new structure drove accountability and operating improvement within the department. Additionally, David was instrumental in reducing the monthly close from 15 days to just three days.

Before their time at Inform Diagnostics, David held various finance-related positions at companies such as Caris Life Sciences and Miraca Holdings. At Caris Life Sciences, David led financial due diligence and transaction support for the sale of the anatomic pathology business to Miraca Holdings. David then went on to lead the integration of the finance and accounting functions with Miraca while providing all finance and accounting support to the spun-off business for eight months.

David Priestley has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from East Carolina University - College of Business and is currently a candidate for Master of Science in Civil Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. David is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts - Division of Professional Licensure - Board of Accountancy.
