Jeroen van Wilgenburg

Jeroen Van Wilgenburg has a strong work experience in the financial industry. Jeroen began their career as an Analyst Mortgage Backed Securities at ABN AMRO North America in 2000. Jeroen then worked as a Marketmaker at Euronext Exchanges in 2001. In 2002, they served as an Operations Officer at ABN AMRO. Jeroen later joined Aespen Brokerage as an Institutional Derivatives Broker from 2003 to 2004. Jeroen then moved to Robeco, where they held various roles including Institutional Sales Manager, Director of Business Development and Client Servicing, Managing Director for Japan & Korea, and Vice President from 2005 to 2014. Currently, they are an Executive Director of Business Development for Benelux, Nordics & Global Financial Institutions at Aegon Asset Management.

Jeroen Van Wilgenburg has a diverse education history. In 1994, they obtained their Master's degree in International Economics from Radboud University. In 2000, they pursued an MBA at Virginia Tech as a graduate student. Jeroen further expanded their knowledge by obtaining various certifications, including the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) in 2010 and the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) in 2011. In 2013 and 2014, Jeroen attended IE Business School, earning a Global Executive MBA. During the same period, they also obtained the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) designation from the MTA- Market Technicians' Association, focusing on Technical Analysis & Behavioral Finance. Jeroen has continued to enhance their expertise with additional certifications, such as the Certificate in ESG Investing from CFA UK in 2021 and the upcoming Oxford Private Markets Investment Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2023.
