Niek Swagers has extensive experience in investment management, currently serving as the Head of Investment Solutions and LDI NL Lead at Aegon Asset Management since November 2004. In this role, Niek advises pension funds and insurers on investment strategies and oversees all LDI-related activities within the Netherlands. Niek also has a background as a Quantitative Analyst, where the focus was on developing models for investment decisions and risk management. Additionally, Niek holds positions as the Supervisory Committee Chair at Stichting Pensioenfonds Staples and as a lecturer in Pension Education at Nyenrode Business Universiteit, providing insights on investment policies and strategic asset allocation. Niek's early involvement with the IndianRose Foundation involved supporting educational and microcredit projects in India.
