Alek Ismayilov

Alek Ismayilov has extensive experience in IT risk management, with a focus on the financial services sector. Alek started their career at Ernst & Young in 2005, where they worked as a Senior Manager in the Information Technology Risk Advisory practice for over eleven years. Alek'sresponsibilities included various risk engagements such as IT internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley projects, external financial statement audits, information security projects, and service auditor examinations. In 2016, Alek joined Transamerica as the Head of IT Risk Management, where they held the role of managing IT risk and internal control. Recently, in 2021, they moved to Aegon as the Global Head of IT Risk Management.
