Corine van der Heijden-Oosters

Corine van der Heijden-Oosters has a diverse work experience in the finance field. Corine started their career in 2002 at Ernst & Young Assurance as a (Senior) Staff Audit, where they worked until 2006. Corine then joined EY as a Senior Advisor F&PM until 2008. Corine spent the next two years at Ernst & Young Advisory in France as a Manager - Finance. Corine then moved to EY Advisory, where they worked from 2010 to 2015. During this time, they held roles as a Manager - Finance and later as a Senior Manager - Finance, leading advisory engagements for multinational clients in various finance fields. Since 2015, Corine has been working at Aegon, holding positions such as Head expense accounting and control, Program manager IFRS 17, and currently as the Head of Global Finance Programs since August 2021. Their expertise lies in finance transformation, management accounting and reporting, project management, and process efficiency.

Corine van der Heijden-Oosters completed a post-graduate program for Certified Public Accountant (RA) at Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2002 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Drs degree in Economics with a focus on Corporate Finance and Controlling from the same university, graduating in 2002. In 2000, they briefly studied Economics at Harvard University.
