Irene Hoogendam

Irene Hoogendam is an experienced Risk Officer with a diverse background in finance and risk management, currently serving as a Sr. Risk Manager in the Operational & Model Risk Management department at Aegon since September 2010. Previously, Irene held roles as Team Lead/Financial Controller and Assistant Controller, focusing on Solvency II reporting and management reporting within a multi-disciplinary team. Prior experience includes accounting positions at Aegon USA and Aegon NV, as well as consulting roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Dinel BV. Irene holds a Master's degree in Finance & Control from the Netherlands Business Academy and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Management, Economics & Law from various institutions, including Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and Idaho State University.
