Jan Rozemeijer

Jan Rozemeijer is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in international and cross-border M&A, Corporate Venture Capital, and strategic legal advisory, currently serving as the Head of Legal at Aegon since October 2012. Prior roles include Chairperson and Board Member at Haags Werk Bedrijf Publieke Taken from January 2016 to December 2022, contributing to the organization’s mission of maintaining clean public spaces in The Hague with a focus on inclusivity. Jan Rozemeijer began a legal career as an Attorney at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek from 2001 to 2011, specializing in M&A, corporate finance, employee benefits, and litigation, including two years in the New York office. Academic qualifications include an LL.M. from Columbia Law School, a postgraduate course in Employment Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a law degree from Leiden University, complemented by business training at various institutions.
