Laura Oliphant

Laura Oliphant is currently the Director at Aehr Test Systems. Laura has also previously held the position of Board Member at NOVELDA from January 2018 to December 2022. Laura has also been a Board Member at Serendibite Partners and Thin Film Electronics ASA (now Ensurge Micropower ASA) from January 2017 to December 2019. In addition, Laura was the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors at Translarity from January 2016 to December 2018. Finally, Laura was with Intel Corporation for 25 years from January 1991 to December 2016 where they were the Investment Director, Intel Capital. While at Intel, Laura helped deliver more than $1B in strategic and financial value (>2x cash on cash return), with a financial return in the top quartile of venture investors. Laura also enabled Intel to leverage R&D dollars by a factor of 2-4x during their tenure. Notable investments and transactions during their time at Intel include Astria Semiconductor Holdings (aka MicroProbe), Lotes, Asyst Technologies, NaWoTec, ALIS, and Xradia.

Dr. Laura Oliphant is a chemical engineer who earned their Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Laura also holds a master's degree in chemical engineering from UC Berkeley, as well as a BE from Manhattan College. In addition, Oliphant has an associate's degree in photography from Foothill College and a certificate in fintech from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Laura is also a board leadership fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors and is certified by the NACD in directors training and board leadership.
