John Copman

Vice President at AEI Consultants

John has over 25 years of experience covering a variety of environmental consulting fields and joined AEI in 2009. His professional background includes fish and wildlife management projects for the NJDEP; environmental impact statements and wetlands delineations in support of civil engineering projects; investigative work for the US EPA’s CERCLIS/Superfund program; site investigation, UST closure, spill response, remedial investigation and removal action projects; and the performance and management of environmental consulting services for real estate transactions throughout the United States and Internationally. His current role at AEI includes staff management and development, projects management and review, and business development. John has obtained licenses or certifications in asbestos, lead-based paint, and UST closure and subsurface evaluation. John has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Resource Management with a Minor in Conservation and Applied Ecology from Rutgers University, and is working toward a Master’s Degree in Business.
