Lon Michael Cooper

Lon Michael Cooper, P.E., LPG, is an experienced professional with a career spanning several decades in geology and environmental engineering. Currently serving as Site Mitigation Manager at AEI Consultants since October 2014, Lon has held numerous leadership positions including Director of Environmental Operations at Metropolitan Solutions and Sr. Project Engineer at Lee & Ryan, Inc. Contributions include directing investigations, reviewing comprehensive reports, and leading groundwater and soil assessments. Academic involvement includes a tenure as Adjunct Faculty at Grand Valley State University. Lon holds a Ph.D. in Geology (in progress) from Michigan State University, a Master of Engineering in Geologic Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Cincinnati.
