Chase Meares

Chase Meares has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries. From 2020, they have worked as a Technical Sales Engineer at AEM Group, covering outside sales for over 20 companies in North Carolina and South Carolina. Chase is responsible for new customer development and current customer growth, with a focus on board level electrical components. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2020, they held a similar role at SouthBridge, covering outside sales for over 15 companies in the same region.

In 2017, Chase worked as a Process Engineer at CCL Label, where they organized and facilitated the Continuous Improvement Department. Chase implemented Lean practices and processes, working with internal and external departments, customers, and vendors to drive continuous improvement.

Before that, from 2014 to 2016, Chase was employed as a Standardized Patient at the National Board of Examiners in Optometry. In this role, they provided assistance in the final stage of testing for optometry licensing, ensuring professionalism, adherence to testing procedures, and maintaining confidentiality.

In 2016, Chase had a Process Engineer Internship at CCL Label, where they led and participated in Lean projects, facilitated Kaizen Events, and worked towards reducing production waste and defects.

Prior to their professional career, Chase gained sales experience as a Sales Executive at Jos. A. Bank Clothiers from 2013 to 2015. Chase was responsible for customer service, store upkeep, inventory management, and shipping.

In addition to their work experience, Chase served as the Fraternity President of the UNC Charlotte Chapter of Triangle Fraternity from 2014 to 2015. In this role, they led meetings, organized events, managed finances, and represented the chapter in local and national meetings. This position provided him with valuable leadership, organizational, and networking skills.

Chase Meares earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Systems Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with a study period from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, Chase obtained a certification as a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma from Life Leaders LLC in August 2016.
