Fernando Belda Esplugues

Fernando Belda Esplugues has extensive experience in meteorology and information systems, currently serving as Acting Director for Production and Infrastructure and Special Adviser at AEMET - Agencia Estatal de Meteorología since January 2020. Prior to this role, Fernando held the position of Director of the Observing and Information Systems Department at the World Meteorological Organization from January 2017 to January 2020 and served as Director for Production and Infrastructure at AEMET from April 2012 to January 2017. Fernando earned a Doctorate in Physical Sciences from the University of Valencia, completing the program between 1985 and 1990.
