Dr. Syed Shahzad Shah is an experienced professional in the field of food safety and microbiology, currently serving as a Technical Auditor/Expert in Food Safety at Certification Body in Sydney since December 2019. Dr. Shah is also a Casual Academic at Western Sydney University and a Senior Lecturer & Food Science Course Development Expert at Australia Education Management Group, roles held since 2021 and 2020, respectively. Previous experience includes mentoring as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Startupbootcamp, involvement with the Asia Pacific Institute of Food Professionals, and quality assurance work with Tripod Farmers Group. Dr. Shah has held significant positions in food safety and quality management, including Managing Director at Rocco's Restaurant and Microbiologist at the University of Tasmania. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Food Microbiology from the University of Tasmania and an Endeavours Executive Award in Food Safety.
