Emily Brodie is an experienced professional with a background in environmental management and engineering. Beginning a career as a Process Engineer at Refining NZ, Emily progressed through various roles, including a Graduate position at BOC Gases Australia and significant positions at the Ministry for the Environment, where responsibilities included Senior Adviser and Team Leader for Climate Change Implementation. As Carbon & Green Regulatory Manager at Origin Energy, Emily led a team responsible for compliance reporting on carbon pricing and sustainability. Further experience includes serving as Acting Director/Senior Advisor at the Australian Energy Market Commission and holding multiple leadership roles at the Australian Energy Market Operator.
