Raphael Fernandez

Raphael Fernandez currently serves as the Gerente de Segurança AVSEC at Aena Brasil, overseeing AVSEC operations for eleven airports across Brazil since May 2023. Prior experience includes managing public security at the São Paulo Metropolitan Company and serving as Terminal and AVSEC Security Operations Manager at GRU Airport, where significant achievements included the launch of International Terminal 3 and recognition as the "Best Airport" in 2017. Raphael has held various roles in security management, including positions at Nokia Siemens Networks and Metrô Rio, demonstrating extensive expertise in operational security, risk assessment, and customer service management. Educational qualifications include an MBA from FGV, Economic and Financial Management from Fundação Dom Cabral, and specialized training in rail and metro systems from DB Rail Academy in Germany.
