Ms Garcés has a degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of Saragossa Polytechnic Centre, specialising in communications, and has completed the Management Development Programme at the IESE Business School.
She began her professional career at Aena in 2002, linked to the development of the ATM system of the ATC centres and towers in Spain (SACTA Automated Air Traffic Control System).
She has held various senior posts in this area, as head of the department and head of the SACTA System Development and Engineering Division.
In 2013, as head of the Network Supervision and Services Division, she was responsible for the creation of a specialist centre for real-time supervision and analysis of the operation and quality of the services provided in the Aena Air Navigation network, until she was appointed East Region Director later that year.In 2021, she became Network Director.
