Hamal Marino has extensive experience in robotics, currently serving as a Simulation Engineer for Manipulation and Grasping at Aeolus Robotics, Inc. since August 2018. Previously, Hamal held the position of Senior Roboticist at Intermodalics and was a PhD student at the Centro di Ricerca "E. Piaggio," focusing on human grasping and the transfer of autonomous capabilities to robots, while developing an open-source framework for manipulation planning. Hamal's academic journey includes research assistant roles at Northeastern University and ETH Zurich, contributing to studies on human motor control and modeling for ophthalmic surgery, respectively. Hamal holds a Ph.D. in Robotics and Automation Engineering, a Master's in Robotics and Automation Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, complemented by a Diploma in Qualified Accountancy and Programming.
