Chris Sidwell

Chris Sidwell currently serves as the Structures Manager and Engineering Structures Specialist Team Lead at Aer Lingus since September 2019, where responsibilities include leading structures specialists for maintenance and engineering, as well as managing the A330 transition into the Aer Lingus fleet. Prior to this role, Chris Sidwell accumulated extensive experience at Airbus from September 2001 to September 2019, holding several key positions including Lead Project Design Engineer and Engineering Team Leader for daily repairs, where significant contributions were made to in-service aircraft airworthiness and repair processes. Chris Sidwell also served as Major Incident Coordinator and was involved in various engineering roles focusing on wing repairs and abnormal event management. Educational qualifications include an HND in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West of England.
