Lowell Pollema

Lowell Pollema is an experienced engineering and management professional with a robust background in energy sector operations. As the current Manager of Valley Energy at California Resources Corporation since August 2024, Lowell oversees a diverse team managing cogeneration facilities and gas compression processes. From July 2008, at Aera Energy LLC, Lowell has held various leadership roles, including Executive Director, where responsibilities include managing the MSCC Partnership and overseeing financial operations. Previous roles at Aera Energy encompass management of surface facilities and project execution for capital projects in the Belridge and WC projects teams. Prior experience includes significant positions at Chevron and Texaco, focusing on power plant engineering and capital improvement projects. Lowell holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and an Associate of Science in Engineering from Bakersfield College.
