Øystein Jensen

Øystein Jensen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Their most recent position is as a Compliance Manager at Aera Payment & Identification, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vipps as a Security Governance Manager from March 2022 to September 2022, and as a Platform Engineer from October 2018 to March 2022. Øystein also has experience at Nets | Norway as a PKI Systems Engineer/System Owner from August 2010 to September 2018. Before that, they worked as a Consultant PKI and Encryption at the National Police Computing and Material Service from April 2009 to July 2010. Øystein started their career at Telenor Cinclus AS as a 2nd Line Technical Support from June 2008 to March 2009. Øystein has also held positions at SevenBest AS as a Department Manager from November 2006 to April 2007, and as a Co-worker from August 2005 to October 2006. Additionally, Øystein has worked at Shell Marketing AS as a Co-worker from August 2002 to May 2005, and as an Assistant Manager from December 2001 to June 2002. Øystein began their career with the Royal Norwegian Air Force, serving in the Initial Compulsory Military Service from September 1998 to August 1999.

Øystein Jensen has a strong educational background in the field of computer science and information security. Øystein holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Information Security from Gjøvik University College (HiG), which they obtained starting from 2005. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Science at Ålesund University College (HiÅ).

Before pursuing higher education, Øystein Jensen attended Otto Treider's School of Commerce (Otto Treiders handelsskole) from 2000 to 2001, where they completed a Programme of Professional Study in Network Administration.

In addition to their degrees, Øystein Jensen has obtained several certifications to further enhance their expertise. Øystein received the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in May 2019. Furthermore, they achieved the TOGAF 9 Foundation Level certification from The Open Group in November 2018.
