Phillip Downes

Phillip Downes has an extensive background in compliance and ethics, currently serving as a Compliance Operations Specialist at Fortive since December 2021. Prior to this role, Phillip worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Compliance Specialist focused on legal regulatory compliance from June 2020 to November 2021. Phillip's experience includes significant positions at Boeing, where responsibilities ranged from Senior Lead Ethics and Compliance Advisor to Ethics Advisor from April 2013 to June 2020. Additional roles include Licensing Coordinator at USI Insurance Services and extern at the Executive Ethics Board in the State of Washington. Phillip began a career in ethics and compliance as an intern at Avanade in 2009. Academically, Phillip holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Central Washington University and furthered education at George Mason University.
