Mircea Lemnaru

Mircea Lemnaru has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mircea began their career as a Software Developer at Fortech in 2004 and later worked as a Software Engineer at Recognos Romania, where they led a team and worked on Directory Information Services and IVR applications. In 2008, they joined Hewlett-Packard as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing to the development and maintenance of a high-performance and scalable product. At InterAct Public Safety, they served as a Senior Software Engineer, taking ownership of key components and providing technical reviews. Mircea also held roles at Small Footprint, Inc., where they worked as a Software Engineer and later as a Team Lead managing a 10-member team, and at Artisan Infrastructure as a Senior Software Developer, responsible for implementing a highly performant solution for data center statistics and billing. From 2016 to 2018, Mircea worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on building a highly scalable suite and implementing a Docker Image Compliance feature. Currently, they are employed at Aera Technology, where they have held several positions, including Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, and their current role as Principal Architect. Throughout their career, Mircea has showcased a technical mindset, delivering performance-oriented solutions and maintaining long-term sustainability.

Mircea Lemnaru received their BS degree in Computer Science from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, from 1997 to 2001, they attended Liceul de informatica Tiberiu Popoviciu. Mircea holds a certification as a SUN Certified JAVA Programmer SCJP 1.4.
