Vladimir Fonseca

Vladimir Fonseca has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vladimir currently holds the position of Technical Lead Cloud Architect at Aera Technology since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Cloud Architect at the same company from June 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining Aera Technology, Vladimir was a Dev Principal Engineer at Quest Software from October 2016 to April 2020. Vladimir also held the same role at Dell from 2014 to 2016.

In their early career, Vladimir worked as a Principal Test Engineer and QA Test Engineer at Dell from 2011 to 2013. Vladimir also served as an Infrastructure Manager at Thin-nology LLC from February 2011 to October 2011.

Further back in their career, Vladimir worked as an IT Consultant at COMSYS in 2010 and as a Desktop Support at AISD (Austin Independent School District) in 2010. Vladimir also served as a Network System Administrator at Resort Club from 2001 to 2010 and as a Network Administrator and Software Engineer at ARTEX Corporation from 1999 to 2001. Vladimir began their career as a Professor of Computer Science and Network Administrator at FORMATUR, TOURISM School from 1997 to 1999, teaching computer science and managing LAN and IT systems.

Vladimir Fonseca earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Oriente, Cuba, from 1991 to 1995. Vladimir then pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunication Systems from the same university, completing it from 1995 to 1999. In addition, they obtained the following certifications: CompTIA A+ in August 2010, CompTIA Network+ in November 2010, and CompTIA Security+ in 2011 from CompTIA.
