Amos Y.

Amos Y. has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Amos is currently serving as the Vice President Powerplant at AerCap, where they provide active support to commercial and cargo deal teams in negotiating agreements and contracts related to aircraft engine leasing. Amos also maintains relationships with customer airlines, manufacturers, maintenance facilities, and technical service providers.

Before joining AerCap, Amos worked as a Technical Consultant to GECAS/AerCap at CAE Parc Aviation from 2019 to 2022, where they provided technical expertise and support to the team.

Prior to that, Amos served as the VP Technical at Asia Aviation Capital from 2017 to 2019. In this role, they supported business sales and marketing by negotiating lease agreements, managing engine-related tasks, and overseeing lease cash management.

From 2008 to 2017, Amos held multiple positions at ST Aerospace. Amos started as an Engineer and gradually progressed to become a Senior Production Engineer and then an Operations Manager. As an Operations Manager, they handled various responsibilities such as managing engine maintenance, facilitating smooth engine shop visits, and optimizing maintenance plans. Amos also served as a Manager (PBH - Sales & Marketing) during this period, where they managed aircraft engine programs, led contract negotiations, and ensured program profitability.

Amos began their career in the aviation industry with an internship at Turbine Overhaul Services in 2006.
