John O'Brien

John O'Brien is an experienced professional currently serving as the ESG Director at AerCap since February 2024. Previously, O'Brien held the position of Investor Relations Manager and Senior Financial Analyst at ElectroRoute from July 2019 to November 2023. Prior roles include Market Controller at EirGrid, where responsibilities encompassed market analysis, risk management, and the implementation of new market models for I-SEM. O'Brien also worked as a Petroleum Geoscientist at the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications and as a Surveyor at PlotBox. O'Brien holds a Master’s Degree in Integrated Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Aberdeen and a Bachelor's Degree in Geology from University College Cork.
