Ken Aguilar has worked in the software engineering industry since 1999. Ken began their career with a summer internship at Motorola, where they were responsible for maintaining C code and participating in code inspections. The following year, they completed another internship at Motorola. In 2001 and 2003, they completed internships at Intel Corporation. In 2002, they were hired on again to Intel Corporation, where they built a web interface that facilitated factory automation. In 2004, Ken joined Boeing as a Realtime Embedded Software Engineer, where they were part of a team working on the AH64 attack helicopter program. In 2016, they moved to Luminex Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed control software for a complex imaging instrument and redesigned a CPU based real time imaging pipeline using GPU hardware and CUDA. Currently, Ken is working as a High Performance Scientific Programmer at Mapware, since 2022.
Ken Aguilar attended Arizona State University from 1997 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
