Kai Lin

Kai Lin has an extensive work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. They currently hold the position of SVP, Head of Research at Aerium Therapeutics, starting in June 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President, Virology at Atea Pharmaceuticals, Inc from November 2020 to June 2022. From January 2015 to November 2020, they held the role of Senior Director, Head of Virology at Enanta Pharmaceuticals. Before that, Kai Lin worked as the Executive Director, Biology and Translational Science at Idenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. They also held positions at Permeon Biologics, Novartis, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, and the University of Pennsylvania.

Kai Lin's education history begins in 1987 with their enrollment at Nankai High School, where they earned a high school diploma. From 1990 to 1994, Kai attended Nankai University, majoring in Biochemistry and obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree. They then continued their education at the University of Pennsylvania from 1994 to 1999, earning a Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
