Rachel Shaffer

Rachel Shaffer is an experienced Data Analyst currently working at AERMOR, specializing in the Office of Compliance and Assessment since February 2021. Prior to this role, Rachel served as a Cyber Event Planner at Command Post Technologies, where successful coordination of 14 cyber range events enhanced training capabilities for DoD users. Rachel's expertise in cybersecurity was further demonstrated in the role of Information Assurance Analyst at AERMOR, analyzing network traffic for the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command, as well as in previous positions as an Information Systems Technician for the US Navy, where management of a division and conducting penetration testing improved cybersecurity measures across the Navy. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Information Technology from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
