Juan Carlos Ortiz-Villajos

Juan Carlos Ortiz-Villajos is an experienced aerospace executive currently serving as EVP & Managing Director at Aernnova Engineering since September 2012. Prior roles at Aernnova Group include Senior VP of Programs and Business Development, as well as Senior VP of New Projects and Engineering Business Development. Prior to joining Aernnova, Juan Carlos held the position of President at Aernnova Engineering US from July 2007 to September 2012 and served as CEO and Managing Director at Composites Aeronautic Group from September 2005 to June 2007. Juan Carlos began a notable career at Gamesa Aeronáutica, where responsibilities included Director of Business Development and Program Director for the Embraer 170/190. Earlier experience at Boeing Commercial Airplanes Group included roles as Design and Stress Engineer. Juan Carlos earned a Bachelor and Master in Aeronautical Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Master in Business Administration from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
