Andrew Bernard, CMA has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew started their career as a Personnel Manager at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2011. Andrew then transitioned to COUNTRY Financial® as a Financial Representative in 2011, before joining Deloitte as a Management Consultant in 2012. Andrew worked at Deloitte until 2014 and then moved on to Batavia Public School District 101. At Batavia Public School District 101, they served as a Substitute Teacher from 2015 to 2017 and then became a Business Education Teacher until 2023. Currently, Andrew holds the position of Chief School Business Official and Assistant Director of Business Services & Operations at AERO Special Education Cooperative, starting in 2023.

Andrew Bernard, CMA has a diverse education history. Andrew obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Arts in Teaching degree with a specialization in Secondary Education at National Louis University from 2015 to 2017.

In 2010-2011, Andrew Bernard completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree at the University of Illinois Chicago. Andrew focused on Financial Management & Local Government Administration during their studies. Andrew also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science from Illinois State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010.

In terms of additional certifications, Andrew Bernard obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from Certified Management Accountant: CMA® in March 2022. Andrew also holds the Chief School Business Official (CSBO) certification from the Illinois State Board of Education, which they obtained in October 2022. Furthermore, they obtained a Professional Educator's License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education in April 2017.
