Zhijiang Chang has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, with a focus on software development and management. Zhijiang is currently serving as the Head of Engineering at ViSenze since November 2021. Prior to this role, Zhijiang worked at ZephyrTel, where they held multiple positions including Vice President of Engineering and Principal Software Architect between 2019 and 2021. In these roles, they were responsible for managing software development teams, designing processes, and ensuring quality control. Zhijiang also worked at NewNet Communication Technologies from 2012 to 2019, where they served as a Software Architect and Technical Lead, overseeing the development of Telco network product lines and ensuring SDLC quality control. Before that, they worked at Tekelec as a Senior Software Engineer from 2009 to 2011, and at mBalance as a Senior Software Engineer in 2008. Zhijiang started their career at Nortel Networks as a Software Engineer from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, Zhijiang holds a PHD in Computer Science from TU Delft, where their research focused on cross-layer optimization and architecture for mobile devices, satellite ad hoc networking, protocol stack enhancement, and VoIP in wireless environments.

From 1996 to 2000, Zhijiang Chang attended Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

From 2002 to 2004, Zhijiang Chang pursued their Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Delft University of Technology.

From 2004 to 2008, Zhijiang Chang continued their academic journey at Delft University of Technology, where they successfully earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Zhijiang Chang obtained the AWS Solution Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2019.
