James Simpkins

James Simpkins has a wealth of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. James is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Aero Turbine Inc since 2019. Prior to that, they served as President of the Aerospace & Defense Industry from 2015 to 2019. James also held executive roles at Meggitt PLC, including Group President of Meggitt Control Systems, US & UK from 2009 to 2015. Additionally, they served as President of Meggitt Safety Systems, Inc. in 2008 and held various positions, such as Senior Vice President of Finance at Meggitt Aerospace Equipment, US & UK, from 2000 to 2007. Before their time at Meggitt PLC, James served as President of Pacific Valves at Crane Valve Group and Vice President of Finance/CFO at Whittaker Controls-Meggitt. Overall, James Simpkins has extensive leadership and financial management experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
