Brent Hofmann

Corporate Pilot - Captain at Aero

Brent Hofmann has a diverse work experience in various fields. Brent started their career in 2004 as a CH-47D Chinook Helicopter Mechanic in the California Army National Guard. In 2009, they worked as a Parts Counter Associate at Pepboys, where they demonstrated responsibility and dependability. In 2010, they became a Recruiter for the U.S. Army Reserve Officer Training Corp (ROTC) at Simpson University, where they successfully increased program size by 25%. From 2010 to 2020, they served in the United States Army, initially as a Student Pilot and later as a Helicopter Pilot, Operations Officer, and Aviation Maintenance Platoon Leader. During their time in the Army, they managed operations, coordinated resources, and ensured the readiness of helicopters, vehicles, and personnel. In 2018, they transitioned to the commercial aviation industry as a First Officer at PSA Airlines, where they gained valuable experience in commercial aviation operations. Currently, Brent Hofmann is working as a Corporate Pilot - Captain at Aero.

Brent Hofmann began their education at the University of California, Davis, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science from 2006 to 2009. Following their undergraduate studies, in 2010 to 2011, Brent attended the U.S. Army Aviation School of Excellence, specializing in Rotary Wing Aviation. Brent obtained a Commercial Instrument Helicopter License with an S-70 Type Rating for the UH-60 Blackhawk during this time.

Later, in 2014 to 2015, Brent returned to the U.S. Army Aviation School of Excellence to complete the Aviation Captains Career Course, focusing on Military and Strategic Leadership.

Additionally, Brent acquired several certifications to enhance their expertise. In 2010, they obtained the Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape (SERE) Level C certification from the U.S. Army. In 2011, they completed the Training Ammunition Management Course and the Environmental Officer - Hazardous Materials, Hazardous Waste & Spill Response Course from the 7th Army Joint Multinational Training Command and the U.S. European Command, respectively. Brent also earned a Commercial Pilot certification in Rotorcraft-Helicopter and Instrument Helicopter, specifically for the S-70, from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2011.

Later, in 2013, Brent completed the Safety Officer Course offered by the 7th Army Joint Multinational Training Command, U.S. Army Europe. Finally, in September 2021, Brent obtained the Airline Transport Pilot, Multi-Engine Land, CL-65, EMB-145 certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
