Dragos Aionesie

Dragos Aionesie has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dragos started their career as a Flight Dispatcher under supervision at Blue Air in 2010, where they performed flight scheduling, dispatch, and operations control.

In 2011, Dragos joined AviatiQ Flight Support as a Flight Dispatcher, responsible for operational administration and relevant administrative duties. Dragos later moved on to Rizon Jet as an Operations Controller, where they oversaw flight dispatcher training, flight plans, crew planning, and operational control. Dragos also trained new-joiners on Ops Controller Position. Dragos then became the Head of Flight Support & Trip Planning at Rizon Jet, where they set up the flight support business line for third-party aircraft services.

After their time at Rizon Jet, Dragos returned to AviatiQ Flight Support as the Head of Flight Support. In this role, they managed slot management, traffic analysis, and reporting for commercial operations. Dragos also provided slot monitoring and compliance management for scheduled and non-scheduled airlines.

Dragos transitioned to TRTOagency Ltd. in 2017, serving as a Dispatch Manager responsible for overseeing dispatch operations. Later that year, they joined Avionco Ltd. as a Ground Operations Manager, where they managed ground operations and security until 2020.

In 2020, Dragos joined Aero as the Ground Operations & Security Manager. More recently, in 2023, they assumed the role of OCC Manager at Aero.

Additionally, Dragos worked at I-OPS Aviation Support as an Operations Manager from 2016 onwards. Prior to their aviation career, they served as the General Manager of Actedm Prest S.R.L., where they managed the company specializing in labor protection, industrial chemistry, and project management.

Dragos is currently a Pilot at TNT Brothers, starting in 2023. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in aviation operations, flight dispatching, ground operations, and management.

Dragos Aionesie began their education journey in 2006 at Foreign Languages and Literatures Faculty "Dimitrie Cantemir" University in Bucharest, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Foreign Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics, with a focus on English and German. Dragos completed their undergraduate studies in 2010.

In 2010, Dragos attended the Romanian Aviation Academy, where they obtained a certification as a Flight Dispatcher. Dragos then went on to obtain a Flight Dispatch Officer Licence No. 148 from the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority in March 2010.

Continuing their education, Dragos pursued a Master's degree in Aeronautical Management at the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2013 to 2015.

In 2018, Dragos joined the Regional Air School, where they enrolled in the Air Transport Pilot License (ATPL(A)) course. Dragos completed this program in 2021, obtaining their EASA CPL/ATPL.

Throughout their education, Dragos also obtained various certifications. In May 2019, they obtained a Private Pilot License (PPL(A)) from the EASA. Dragos also achieved an ICAO English Proficiency Level 6 certification in June 2019 from Anglo-Continental. Lastly, in August 2021, they obtained an EASA ATPL(A) certification from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency.
