Lucas Fernández Font

Lucas Fern is a Data Scientist currently employed at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and BCG X since April 2024. Previously, Lucas served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Melbourne from July 2021 to April 2024, managing student teams in applied data science, overseeing academic research projects, and teaching various courses related to artificial intelligence and ethics. Lucas also holds experience as a Data Scientist at Lucidity Software, where innovative NLP algorithms and OCR technology were developed. Further experience includes web development for the School of Computing and Information Systems and teaching programming and robotics as a Lead Instructor at Junior Engineers. Lucas has earned a Master of Computer Science focused on Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor of Science in Data Science from the University of Melbourne.
