Jessica Madden, MD, IBCLC has had a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of pediatrics and neonatology. Jessica is the Founder of Primrose Newborn Care, LLC, a Cleveland-based pediatric home visiting service for newborns and infants that offers a range of in-home services including newborn exams, lactation consults, and screening for postpartum mental health disorders.

Jessica has also held various positions at different institutions, including being a Neonatologist at University Hospitals and Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, where they worked in the Level 4 NICU and served as the Founder of the "NICU at Home" post-discharge telemedicine program. Jessica has also served as the Medical Director of Aeroflow Breastpumps at Aeroflow Healthcare and as a Pediatrician at Blueberry Pediatrics.

Dr. Madden has worked as a Newborn Medicine Consultant at 2nd.MD and as the Founding Medical Partner at Doctorpedia. Jessica has also held academic positions, such as being the Associate Program Director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.

Jessica has also served as the Medical Director of the NICU Follow-Up Clinic and as a Neonatologist at Advocate Aurora Health. Jessica'sscholarly interests include neurodevelopmental follow-up of preterm infants, feeding intolerance, milk protein allergies, and breastfeeding/lactation.

Jessica Madden, MD, IBCLC holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Pre-professional Studies and Psychology at the University of Notre Dame from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their medical education, they have obtained certifications, including International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®) in December 2020. Further certifications include being Board Certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics, as well as being a Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider and a Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider, both certified by the American Heart Association.
