Michael Hauenstein

Michael Hauenstein is a student pilot at AeroGuard Flight Training Center since August 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a gifted education teacher at Leander ISD from August 2013 to the present. In addition to teaching, Michael has extensive experience as a freelance writer and editor, including roles at Soundings Publications as a contributing and staff writer. They also have experience in marketing and product development from their time at UT School of Law - Continuing Legal Education. Michael's background also includes managerial experience at Ski Dock and production management at Jones McClure Publishing. They obtained their education from Rice University between 1996 and 2001.
