Jorge L. Jácome

Jorge L. Jácome has extensive experience in the aviation industry. Jorge L. began their career in 1987 as a Powerplant Engineer at Mexicana de Aviacion. Jorge L. then held various positions at Mexicana de Aviacion, including Engineering Director, VP Engineering, and SVP Fleet Planning. In 2011, they became the Senior VP Engineering & Maintenance at Mexicana MRO Services. From 2014 to the present, Jácome served as the Corporate SVP Maintenance & Engineering at Aeromexico. Additionally, they are currently the President of the ALTA Technical Committee at Asociación Latino Americana de Aviación. Jácome has expertise in leading maintenance and engineering divisions, managing repair stations, and overseeing diverse aircraft fleets.

Jorge L. Jácome has a diverse education history. Jorge L. earned a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional in 1987. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Administration and Business Management from Universidad La Salle, A.C., which they completed from 1994 to 1997. In 1999, they obtained a Master's degree in Global MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Additionally, in 1999 and 2000, Jorge pursued a diploma in Administration of Service Companies from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.

Apart from their degrees, Jorge holds multiple certifications from LinkedIn, including Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences, Service Innovation, Working in Harmony as a Senior Team, Inclusive Leadership, Executive Influence, Counterintuitive Leadership Strategies for a VUCA Environment, Critical Thinking for Better Judgment and Decision-Making, Customer Experience Leadership, Strategic Agility, and Transitioning from Manager to Leader. These certifications were obtained in 2022.
