Rocío Blazquez has a diverse and extensive work experience in the aviation and travel industry. Rocío started their career at Spanair, where they held the roles of Subdirectora Nacional de Ventas and later SVP Sales. In 2009, they joined Costa Crociere as Directora Comercial, where they were responsible for designing and implementing distribution and commercialization policies in Spain. In 2010, Rocío Blazquez joined Aeromexico as Regional Sales Director for Europe & Asia, and later as Regional Sales EMEA. Rocío then took on the role of Managing Director US&Canada, where they developed a joint venture with Delta Airlines to maximize partnership and serve customers effectively. Currently, Rocío Blazquez is working as the Head of Sales development, Technology and Operations at Aeromexico, where they are responsible for sales strategy, performance, and enablement through analytics and cross-functional collaboration.
Rocío Blazquez attended the Escuela Oficial de Turismo from 1993 to 1996, earning a Técnico en Empresas y Actividades Turísticas degree with a field of study in Tourism. Additionally, Rocío has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including courses on business development, cross-functional team management, project management skills, time management, agile work, transformational leadership, service mindset development, strategic planning, emotional intelligence leadership, strategic thinking, first-time management, customer-centric culture leadership, leveraging virtual and hybrid teams, critical thinking, body language for leaders, and creating great first impressions.
