Matt Simanonis

Matt Simanonis has worked at five different companies since 2016. In 2021, they began working at Aeropay as a Software Engineer II, Full Stack Developer, and Python and AWS Developer Intern. From 2019-2021, they worked at Jewel-Osco as a Pharmacy Technician, where they provided consultation to patients about medications, drug interactions and health insurance policies. From 2018-2019, they worked at Tempus Labs, Inc. as a Clinical Data Analyst, where they reviewed medical oncology records and structured key data elements to analyze a cancer patient’s response to treatment over time. From 2017-2018, they worked at Tate & Lyle as a Laboratory Technician. From 2016-2017, they worked at the Beckman Institute - Memory Systems Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant, where they collaborated with a Ph.D. candidate to present findings on eye tracking and its use in developmental childhood relational memory. Matt also administered Neuropsychological Tests, instructed subjects in a variety of memory studies, and compiled, analyzed, and ensured accuracy of data using MS Excel, MATLAB, Python, SQL and SPSS.

Matt Simanonis graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology.
