Orrin Sheppard

Orrin Sheppard has been working in the tech industry since 2019. Orrin began their career as a Repair Technician at Geek Squad in 2019 and then moved on to become a DevOps Engineer at AeroPay in 2020. As a DevOps Engineer, they have been working as a team lead within a small team of AWS engineers, setting up and managing Linux instances using EC2, EBS, ELB, SSL/TLS, Security Groups and IAM, as well as database instances using RDS, Security Groups and IAM.

Orrin Sheppard attended Western Governors University from 2020 to 2021 and earned a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Cloud Computing. Orrin also obtained several certifications from CompTIA, Linux Professional Institute, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). These certifications include CompTIA Project+ (July 2021), CompTIA Security+ (July 2021), CompTIA Cloud+ (June 2021), Linux+ Powered by LPI Certification (April 2021), CompTIA A+ (March 2021), CompTIA Network+ (March 2021), Amazon Web Services SysOps Administrator - Associate (August 2021), Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate (May 2020), and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner (February 2020).
