Damian Magista is an experienced professional currently serving as the Regional Program Manager at AJAC | Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeships since February 2023. Previously, Damian held the position of Business Solutions Navigator - Sector Engagement at the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce, focusing on improving job seeker access and building regional sector partnerships. Damian also worked as a Workforce Development Specialist at the Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council, where internship opportunities for job seekers were identified. As the Founder of Bee Local, Damian successfully grew the startup to achieve over $400,000 in annual sales. Additional experience includes roles as a Field Producer at THE ORIGINAL FARE, LLC, and as Marketing Director at Annata, where brand development was managed from concept to launch. Damian is currently pursuing a Film/Cinema/Video Studies certificate from Yellowbrick, having studied at South Puget Sound Community College and The Evergreen State College.

AJAC | Advanced Manufacturing Apprenticeships
AJAC launched in 2008 with an investment from Washington State to skill-up the aerospace and advanced manufacturing workforce through registered apprenticeship. AJAC developed and implemented 13 high-growth, in-demand apprenticeship occupations to serve a variety of demographics, industries, and companies across the state. AJAC serves approximately 400 apprentices per year at close to 300 companies, partnering with 12 community colleges to ensure that all apprentices are receiving college credits while working towards a journey-level certificate.
