Mary Ellen Kachinske

Mary Ellen Kachinske is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Regional Operations Manager and Program Director for WPRO-FM and WWLI-FM at CUMULUS MEDIA since January 2020. Prior to this role, Kachinske held various positions at 101.9fm THE MIX - WTMX Chicago from 2000 to 2018, including Program Director, and was recognized with six NAB Crystal Awards and the Crystal Heritage Award for Community Service in 2016. Kachinske also served as Program Director at WQAL-FM from 1987 to 2000, successfully transforming the station's format to Hot AC and achieving top ratings among key demographics. Kachinske holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and Rhetoric from Kent State University.
