Alexandre Pottrain

Alexandre Pottrain has a diverse work experience in the field of RF engineering and satellite communications. Alexandre is currently working as a Product Owner and RF Hardware Engineer at Aerospacelab since December 2022. Previously, they worked at ST Engineering iDirect as an RF Hardware Engineer from January 2021 to December 2022, where they contributed to the development of satellite communications subsystems. Before that, they worked at Incize as a Senior RF Engineer from February 2019 to January 2021. Prior to that, they were employed at ST Engineering iDirect as an RF/Microwave Engineer from July 2015 to December 2017, where they focused on the development of microwave transceivers for satellite communications. Alexandre also worked at Crocus Technology as a Characterization Engineer from December 2013 to June 2015. Alexandre started their career as a Radiofrequency Engineer and PhD student at STMicroelectronics from October 2009 to November 2012, where they conducted research on non-linear characterization of silicon devices up to 220 GHz. Additionally, they gained experience as a Microwave Engineer during an internship at Thales from April 2009 to September 2009.

Alexandre Pottrain completed their education in a chronological manner. Alexandre earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Microelectronics, Radiofrequency and Microwave Engineering from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology between 2004 and 2009. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Microelectronics from the same institution, graduating in 2012.
