Mathieu Baijot has a strong background in engineering and research. Mathieu began their career as a Project Manager at Nova High Technology Engineering and Consulting ASBL from 2011 to 2013. Mathieu then gained experience as a Student Intern at DELTATEC in 2015. In 2016, Mathieu worked as an R&D Engineer at B MEDICAL SYSTEMS and also served as a Lecture Assistant at Université de Liège. Later that year, they transitioned to the role of Research Engineer and Teacher Assistant at the same university. From 2017 to 2021, Mathieu pursued a PhD at MICAS - MNS (KU Leuven). In 2021, they worked as a Consultant at ALTEN before joining Aerospacelab as an Electronics Engineer in 2022.
Mathieu Baijot has a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Computer Sciences, which they earned from the University of Liège from 2010 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the same university. During 2014, they also had a short-term study experience at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where they studied Biomedical Engineering. Recently, from 2017 to 2018, Mathieu Baijot attended the University of Liège again and obtained a Teacher Training Certificate for Upper Secondary Education (AESS) with a focus on Mathematics.
